Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is a Question Pack?

A Question Pack consists of sets of 25 original, carefully crafted questions for every chapter in the textbook, including all the Key Terms in bold in the text and listed at the end of each chapter (usually 10 to 15). The files are formatted in Word as well as multiple Learning Management platforms: Blackboard, Canvas, and Moodle.

The Question Pack is provided as a .zip file. After it is unzipped, you will see a list of files similar to Figure 1.

Are the Question Packs for Instructors?

Yes! The Question Packs were created specifically for busy professors teaching U.S. History and American Government survey courses at universities and community colleges. They are designed to help you save HOURS of your valuable time by enabling you to create well-written, high-quality multiple choice quizzes or exams in just a few clicks of a mouse.

Are the Question Packs for Students?

No. The Question Packs were designed to help instructors create high-quality multiple choice exams for their college courses. Unless your professor is using one of these Question Packs for your course (which is extremely unlikely), you will not gain any advantage from knowing the answers to these specific questions.

However, every set includes questions for all the Key Terms in every chapter, and you might find the Question Pack is useful for review, similar to an online flashcard service, and possibly more affordable.
